Yesterday I wrote a protocol for an experiment we did at the university, creation of simple structures on a glass substrate by metalization and lift-off.
I had a somewhat frustrating experience today: my Eclipse workspace, which I had spent a great deal of time customizing, was suddenly reverted to the default layout. All Perspectives that I created were gone. Continue reading
Well, there was not much to move really. Nevertheless, I changed all the settings and moved all the files; time to change your bookmarks 🙂
I will soon change the dyndns hostname to my laptop, so the site won’t be accessible any more from pezo.mine.nu, but only from feichti.net.
Finally, I moved to my new ISP and now I have a static IP address.
That means that soon the site will be accessible through my own domain name, feichti.net. I will keep you posted.
So I messed around today with my laptop and deleted the directory
/var/lib/aptitude/ (of course backing it up at first).
Since I have been asked by a few people, I’m going to show you how to compile your own Debian kernel package from vanilla (kernel.org) sources, customizing it to your hardware.
I finally finished setting up WordPress, that’s pretty much it 😉
